August returned to his room. The night had nothing else. August had a lot to learn, it was a whole new world with stuff that he never even heard of.
Magic, monsters, and stories that were like out of a storybook. And him somehow becoming part of it. When Schoel asked him to whisper about how he knows about his failed attempts, he did say the truth. But he can't read minds after all. At Least he knows that much. There goes a lot before you go kill yourself and a lot of courage. If Ailynn didn't join him, he may have stepped back in fear.
Next morning….
Oliver knocked at his door, while August was deep asleep. August turned around in his bed, ignoring the knocking. He slept late yesterday. Oliver remained persistent. In the end, August gave up and stormed to open the door, completely forgetting to put on clothes before opening the door.
