August shifted his gaze back at Odette. He said nothing, just looked into her eyes. "And why should I believe someone who is planning to wipe off a whole generation of innocent people?" August retorted, his claw reappearing and grabbing her neck out of nowhere.
Odette was flabbergasted by his sudden attack to retreat.
"Augustus…throw her away," Azrael instructed with all her might left, trying to crawl up to them.
Azrael heard everything Odette told her and the way he looked like she was a murderer made her believe that he was going to take her side. Azrael did feel relief seeing he decided to side her on this. Maybe it's not that bad to have a husband.
August did as she said. She flew off towards the forest. Once she was thrown off. August immediately ran over to Azrael.
"Azrael." He called, grabbing her arms and trying to help her to get up.
