"Then why are you hiding it?" August grew suspicious of her behaviour. He eyed the box she was holding and tried to get it. However, Gabriella pulled it back.
"I said it's nothing." She affirmed, hiding the box away.
"Then let me see it ok?" August shouted losing his temper at his sister.
"Ok fine! I don't want you to get triggered after seeing her. The last time you saw her, you got yourself an overdose!" She yelled.
The room went silent after that. August withdrew his hands from the box.
"I-I…" Gabriella realised what she blurted without realising. "I am so sorry, I didn't mean it. " She continued.
"It's fine, you are right about it." August pulled out a playful smile rubbing the back of his head like what she said didn't really matter.
August looked outside the window, the sun was almost down, he hurriedly picked up the book laid on the desk.
"It's getting late, I think I should leave." August excused himself, trying to not look at her eyes while passing her.
