Azrael walked back upstairs, just a few more days with her loved ones. Why can't she have a little more time with them? Saying farewell was in her plan, but saying was harder than she thought.
"Azrael…" August tried to talk to her but Edgar held him. By then, Oliver and Valerie, who were tossed away, returned holding each other.
Oliver's face scorned seeing Edgar there. Oliver never trusted Edgar but that distrust grew after what Nat told them about him.
"What are you doing here?" Oliver growled, almost trying to attack him without August and Val stopping him.
"Relax. I am just checking on Azrael. If I didn't hold her back today, you three would be dead by now." Edgar remarked and shrugged his arm.
"You!" Oliver gritted his teeth in annoyance. What an arrogant bastard..
"What? Tell me how you would handle a cadger of her level. Just miniscule power of her and look at you two." Edgar criticised, looking at them from top to bottom.
