Shade saw Cula hanging with a HUMAN girl. "Cula…you're being pathetic. How can you hang out with dirty kind." Kelly heard Shade's speaking and got mad. "I don't think it's a good idea to talk like that to someone you just met!" "Shut up. Human" said Shade as Kelly shout at him. Kelly looked like she was about explode. Cula was mad at him to. Why is he acting like that to his new human friend?
"Listen, EIGHT TAILED. I don't know why you're acting like this, but, do you think your DEAD PARENTS want you to grow up like this? Do you think they will like your shutdown iced mind?"Cula shouted. Suddenly Shade was furious. He felt more than furious. He ran to cula and collar him. "You can't talk about my dead parents and you can't call me 'eight tailed'. Because you're such a dump stupid vampire!!" And he let Cula go.
Cula was so shocked. No word came out of Cula's mouth. Kelly asked. "What is all about vampire and tails? I can't understand."
"Let's talk at our house calmly." Shade suggested and three of them agreed.
Three of them were very quiet while going to Cula and Shade's house. After they arrived they sat down on sofa which was facing the TV.They still didn't speak for least 5minutes until Shade spoke. "So, Kelly…..about that vampire and tails, It's just a monster stuff." "MONSTER?" "well…..It's a top secret…but we are REAL monsters in a form of human." "What? I can't understand. I….I'm confused."
Cula started to talk. "Well...em….when I was born my parents were killed by monster hunter Tomsen…and Bloose Reaper who is grand son of grim reaper is taking care of me. And him…Shade was…um…..was…..um..um…" Cula mumbled and looked at Shade. Shade closed his eyes. Deep-red eyelid was more visible as he closed his eyes. "Fine…Cula…you can tell." "Shade's parents were also killed by Tomsen but…It was when he was 12…. So, I bet Shade remembers that day…And Tomsen also tried to shoot him, But that gun didn't kill him. It cut off one of his tails…."
After Cula's word, Shade spoke. "Kelly, you should keep this as a secret, or else..will be found and killed. I can't believe you because we just met, but I'm telling you." "OFCOURSE I'LL KEEP THIS SECRET! We're know friends!" Kelly said trustfully."Please count me out." Shade said but Kelly ignored him.
"I think I need a personal space with Shade.. So Kelly, can you please go?" Cula said looking at Shade. Kelly said goodbye to them and went to home. After her footstep sound was vanished, Cula went to Shade's room and Shade followed. Cula set on Shade's bed. "Shade, I'm really sorry…. I expect you to be angry, not furious.. And I didn't knew that you're that sensitive for that.." Cula apologized to Shade who was stting right beside him.
"Sorry that I collar you.. It really hurts when someone says about that day." "I know it hurts." "I still can remember that day. There was a fire on our house. And as my parents and I came out, Tomeson was standing holding my dead sister. We were shocked. He laughed and shot my parents. And he tried to shot me. I ran fast as I could so I avoided getting killed. But I lost my tail. Tomeson was still following my tracks. I got help from professor Reaper and then I met you."
" But you were DIFFRENT from me. You looked happy without you're parents.. How can you live so happy? Is it because you can't remember?" " Nope. I'm happy because I have Professor, you and now I have Kelly too. Because of them, I actually don't think about sad past." Cula looked at Shade as there were no reaspond.
Shade had never cried after his parents got killed. And he became sharp and cold since that day. He'd closed his mind and has shut the world out…But this time, he couldn't be cold. He couldn't control his emotions…. Tears drop from his eyes. And this sad day passed.
