The next day Xianwu woke up, her hairs disheveled and eyes blurry. Looking around she gazed at her little cottage which, seemed to be brimming with rays of sunlight gushing inside through tiny pores amid the wooden cottage walls. Instantly remembering she looked beside to gaze at the empty space beside her. In a moment of surprise. Xianwu stood up while rushing out calling, "Xiao yin! Xiao yin?" "Where did he go?" she thought looking outside right and left. However, no sign of him was to be found. Instead, a cool breeze hit her face making her shiver in turn. Poor little Fa ling who was shocked by the sudden impact was dazing around dizzily.
Soon, her eyes came across the clay pot which was kept in the middle of the garden since night. Inside it Mo Bingwen's soul and body was kept to restore his power. "Ah… so he didn't come inside the whole night. It must be hard for him." Xianwu thought while picking up the jar in her arms and gently patting it. Taking the jar inside Xianwu kept it on the wooden table. To her surprise what she found next was a slightly crumbled yet a well-kept paper, hidden neatly under her Heavenly scroll. To the point of being easily discovered by her. Indeed, there was only one person who would love to do something like this. A smile escaped Xianwu's lips as she picked it up. She unfolded the paper to find black, shabby and unclean words smeared onto it as little translucent nightingale went past by her cheek caressing her and mildly dissipating with the wind.
"Such a child…" she instantly thought soon reading it in a light whisper, "Dear sister thank you for taking care of me all this time. I really enjoyed every moment I spent with you. Be it cleaning the cottage or travelling to the silent city. It was really, really fun! However, it's time that I return back but don't forget! I am always by your side watching over you and protecting you. So, until we meet again… take a lot's of care. And, the next time we meet. I'll surely fulfill my promise to you. Yours most lovable… Xiao yin… and I also kept fresh berries for you on the table. Don't forget to eat them."
Gazing at the able Xianwu found a round bowl filled with red berries. "Pft! Haha!" Xianwu laughed suddenly covering her mouth. "How in the world did he write this letter? It is more confusing than the first one he wrote. My most lovable? Haha! This kid surely knows how to use his words… but, after all… he is still Yeying Long." She smiled gently wiping her tears. "So he really is gone now…" Xianwu spoke while patting Fa ling. "Sure does feel lonely doesn't it?" she asked slightly disappointed. After all, Xiao yin's presence in her life had become much bigger part of her life than she had ever expected.
"Alright now! Fa ling we have a lot's of work on our hands now and we even have to visit the village. So let's not waste time and go. Since, Xiao yin had already done all the work before he left… which leaves nothing for me to do." She sighed. While looking inside the water barrels and mending works which were all, already done. "Come on Bingwen, let's go outside. You have to get that fresh air inside your lungs." She asked Bingwen as she gently patted the wooden jar. Bingwen who was half awake and half asleep blinked his eyes while coming out of the pot.
"Are you sure about taking me with you, princess?" he asked slight anxiously. Xianwu smiled, "What is there no right about it? If you meet the villagers, they will get to know you and take care of you even if I am not around. They are all very good people. You might at first not get along with them. But, trust me, they will make you feel as if you are a part of them." She consoled while gently combing his hairs into a ponytail. "And right, one more thing Bingwen, don't call me princess. I will feel really out of place. I prefer if you call me sister Xianwu or even sister is fine. Just like how Xiao yin calls." She told.
Bingwen nodded. Looking around for a while he soon questioned, "Where is he? He won't get mad if I call you that right?" Xianwu blinked her eyes in confusion as she folded the sheets suddenly stopping in between. "Why would he be angry? Moreover, he is not here. He went back home. Don't worry." She smiled. "I don't know… he looked quiet terrifying." Confessed Bingwen as he walked forward to help Xianwu with the sheets. Xianwu sighed with a smile, "Even Bingwen feel's this way…" "It's not like that. He might look a little scary from above. In fact inside his heart, he is a very kind and obedient child. You don't need to be afraid of him." She corrected.
Bingwen nodded. "He is also very handsome…" he suddenly complemented. Xianwu who was slightly shocked gazed at him in wonder. "Wait a minute… wasn't he afraid of him just a moment ago? Why is he complementing him now? Sigh… children these days, I don't understand what they are thinking." Taking a straw bag from the box Amian gave her Xianwu walked outside the cottage closing the door behind. "Alright Bingwen ready to go?" she asked with a smile. "Yes..." he responded while gently grabbing her hand. Fa ling joyfully perked up right and left. "Let's go! Today you're going to make a lot's of new friends!" Xianwu told making her way towards the village.
