Xianwu made her way towards the queue. Hongqi who stood in front of Xianwu had starting walking over it. Taking a last glance at Shijei and Senlin behind her, she put forward her feet. The bridge underneath was built more than a fifteen thousand years ago. It was rusty and every step over it mattered life or death. Fa ling making himself prepared for anything settled attentively inside her straw hat. Xianwu gazed below, the sight was awful.
Even though, it had been clouded by fog long, sharp, pointed rocks were clearly seen. A rotten stench filled the air. Nothing but a shudder went down Xianwu's spine. Hongqi spoke up glancing at her "Those who fall… will die instantly. Many of our people were killed because of that… it's unforgivable…" he gritted his teeth. "Unforgivable?!" Xianwu pondered gazing at him shockingly. "What does that mean? Who is unforgivable?" she pondered.
All of them walked silently. "Careful!" Hongqi warned. "In front of us are broken steps, walk alertly!" Xianwu grabbing a hold of Xiao yin's arm crossed carefully. Hongqi asked "So, what does the herb look like?" Xianwu pondered "Ah! I have no slight idea about something so important… Does Shijei or Senlin know?"
Entering Shijei's private group transmission she questioned "Shijei, do you know what the herb looks like?" Shijei responded "In Heavenly journals it was written that the herb seems similar to the jade absorption herb. Its leaves are jade green and ice cover's it like silver glitter." Xianwu gasped.
"Then, the silent city is really big. Where will we find it in such a short time?" she inquired. Senlin responded "That herb is special, and the reason it is only found in silent city is only because it can only grow in that kind of atmosphere. The only place that rings to my mind is 'The royal kingdom of the Silent city'" Xianwu listened attentively.
Looking at Hongqi she answered "The herbs had leaves which are Jade green and ice covers over it like silver glitter and the only place we could find it immediately is the kingdom of the silent city." Hongqi inquired "Are you sure about that?"
Xianwu nodded, "In my opinion, I'm sure. However, if you have a place in mind you can search it as well." She implied. Instantly howls of different kinds were heard from the pit below. All of a sudden everyone halted.
Hongqi spoke up with a frown "The cries of our people…" Xianwu stared back at him questioned "What do you mean by that?" The man looked at her as he sighed "The people of the city of No return. The ones who were buried by the heavenly Supremes alive!" His expression turning angered. "The city of no return?!" she thought shocked.
Instantly Shijei's voice spoke up "The city of No return is the forest of no return now. The city which was toppled by the Heavenly Supremes its name is kept the same as the forest." He explained.
Xianwu was baffled. "But, does that mean they are connected with the city of no return then?!" she asked in shock. Senlin replied "Indeed, just like you said… there connection with the silent city is really strong." She agreed.
Suddenly the bridge began to move up and down vigorously. "What in the world is happening?!" shouted the men behind Xianwu. Hongqi stared hard. The fog was too hard to make out anything before them. "Calm down everyone!" he assured.
"Calm down! And grab the ropes tightly!" he advised. Xianwu held the rope tightly. On the other hand her grip on Xiao yin also tightened as he gazed at the fog in front. "Xiao yin! Grab tightly on the rope and don't let go!" she warned worriedly.
"Leader Zhong, can you make out what is making the bridge budge so much?" Xianwu asked looking around. Hongqi gazing hard replied "No I can't! The fog is too heavy!!" he shouted. The bridge stirred up and down wildly as the bricks started breaking apart. Xianwu looked at Senlin and Shijei who were trying to balance themselves in chaos.
They had already crossed halfway over the bridge. If they fell down they had no choice but to die. Xianwu glanced at Xiao yin who tip toed over his feet and gazed thorough the fog with his piercing gaze. "Sister…" he called gravely. Xianwu looked at him puzzled. "What's wrong?" she asked. Hongqi and the others too looked at him wondering.
"Looks like… we have company." He announced. Xianwu's eyes widened as she called out loudly. "Everyone! Take out your weapons! There are Human Eating corpses up ahead!!" Soon a ruckus was created on the bridge and the sight of the corpses who came running towards them became prominent. Hongqi raising his sword charged forward "Kill them!!" he roared.
Leaving Xianwu and Xiao yin behind. The tribesmen rushed forward with their swords killing them. Some were tossed down the bridge landing in to eternal darkness and in the end only the sound of bones and flesh penetrating in the rocks were to be heard.
Shijei and Senlin rushed to them. "Did they come from the silent city?!" Shijei asked grabbing Xianwu. "Yes! They did come for there." She agreed. Senlin turned around to look at the forest but everything was dark. "The forest has become dark all of a sudden!" she exclaimed.
Shijei who was trying to keep us his balance over the tossing and turning bridge spoke up "But I don't understand, why did they make there tribe so close near the bridge when Human Eating corpses come out from the city?" he questioned.
Xianwu however was too confused to answer any of their thoughts. The movement of the bridge was haphazard enough to make her dizzy. "No matter what, don't use your powers to fight. We must not let them know!" Senlin and Shijei nodded. Hongqi who was fighting from the front called "Don't stay there! Come here now!" Xianwu nodded as she grabbed Shijei's hand while one hand gripped Xiao yin's.
