Logan stood looking at the man, he tried to advance, but he couldn't.
"Haha, you think you can get to me?" The man laughed when he saw that Logan was unable to get through the mountain ash he spread on the ground
At this point, he started to regret not using it while Logan and Daphne were tied up. Had he used it, there would've been no way they could've escaped and killed his companions. However, he didn't feel any sort of companionship with them from the beginning, so even when they were dying, he didn't even try to bring this out. Only when he was the last one did he bring it out.
Logan growled softly as he tried to force his way through. However, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to force his way through it.
The man pointed his revolver at him and shot him on his shoulder. He didn't aim and randomly shot.
Logan thought he wouldn't be affected by the bullet and given the distance, he was unable to dodge.
