Chapter 1 - Our First Meeting.

sit somewhere I have a story to tell

about a boy who went from heaven to hell

who reached the peak of grace and then he fell

how he felt despair, cried, and yelled

the boy was once a master of words

he wrote for children and rich nobles

all were fans of his mysterious works

oh, over fiction, he ruled so well

one fine day the boy met a girl

holding his book she was crying alone

and wondered how beautiful tears looked on pearls

but the reason for her crying was yet unknown

so he took a step and stood by her side said

"excuse me m'lady but why do you cry

this book has no parting nor has she died

then what is the meaning behind those tears that you hide"

as he said this she looked into his eyes

he saw an emerald reflecting the skies

the lady at once regained her calm

he said "Sorry for shocking you I meant no harm"

she smiled at him whilst hiding her sadness

while he was lost in her beauty's vastness

"I'm sorry for the unbecoming display,"

she said as she did adjust the hat on her head

"I am but hurt by the writer's words

as he shows no emotion in his all works

there is no love nor hate here

certainly no affection for his characters he bares

how can someone write such a wonderful story

yet bare no feeling to that I worry

a painting of art filled with glee

yet no color in the picture do I see

it's saddening to me and so I cry

such beautiful work and yet why;

there are no feelings to his words

there is no color in his beautiful worlds"

at her words, the boy fell silent

a calm demeanor yet inside he's violent

could it be she knows he's weak

and for the first time, the boy had nothing to speak

he gazed in silence towards the damsel in black

curious she was of his feelings she inquired

"Are you alright oh sir whose name I still lack"

regaining his calm he answers this buyer

"oh malady I'm a sinner under the sky

whose book you do hold that made you cry

I found your words worthy of praise

so much that I ponder how were you raised

to understand my feelings with words alone

how could you know there is no heart

that no love for them do I hone

that no color do I show in all my art

it is true that I have no love

no one to hate I live like this alone

I looked at the sky above alone

as I was I felt no bliss

my art reflects my broken heart

and a painting without colors play their part

by no means do I do this on purpose

as not all clowns are happy acting in a circus"

listening to this the girl stayed still

her eyes still wet she at once said

"Why are you smiling when you want to kill

why does your face seem like molten lead

you seem calm yet a storm rages in you

all of you is black but the skin seems blue

so much hate and thirst for blood

don't hide your pain or your heart will flood"

once again the boy felt frighted

how deep has she laid her sight

how does she know the boy can't tell

what does she know!? inside he yelled

meeting this lady the boy felt despair

she opened his heart and laid it bare

all those feelings he dug deep within

she pulled them out easily like it was all written

there is no mistake she knows me now

then why do I still feel so calm

I can feel light, but why and how

no fire is burnt yet I feel warm

at that time did the boy not know

he was hit with a Cupid's bow

shot to the heart he fell in love

with a damsel that knew

and he looked above he stared silently

as she stood firm, a smile he showed

which reflected his burn

the girl saw this and felt a shudder

as the sky had lost all its color

seeing this expression a thought came to mind

"Just how much does he hate his kind

I now understand the meaning, of his words

why is there no color in all his worlds

if someone could see this honest sight

surely they'll shiver, curse and fright"

but not the girl, as she is the same

she smiles at him, a kindness without shame

and before the boy, a scene unfolds

truly some words are best left untold

they both affirm each other's hate

this must be some sort of fate

a boy who's ruled by despair

and dark a girl who's lost yet still sends a spark

heads or tails they are the same

for them, this world is naught but a game

he lives alone deep in the abyss

she chose the light to shine with bliss

like yin and yang, they both meet

destiny is something you just can't beat

how will this story change their lives

will he forgive or will she die

will they act or will they repel

a story so cruel that cries even hell
