The halls of the one-storey structure were so quiet and I wondered if there would have been servants, but Gyasi told me that they all had vacated his premises. Something he preferred on certain occasions, especially during the weekend. 

While I wanted to get to it, he insisted on a small feast as there had been food prepared ahead of time by the visiting priestesses. I wondered why many women wanted to see him at once but when I thought back to the open way Nenet had hungrily looked at Fashire, I didn't want to know. Neither did I want to conduct a second search of the place. 

At a point, Nenet had left and I was a little unsettled when I sensed her near Fashire.

I tried hard to focus on the matter at hand, and good enough, the fruits Gyasi offered me had taken my attention.
