I snapped to attention, stepping away from him, but he held on, relentless. I was confused, very confused and slowly beginning to understand his words. But at the end of it all, I was finding it hard to grasp things, especially when I was in denial. I had too many questions and I still wasn't sure I'd understand them even if I got the answers.
