Eos P.O.V.:
For the next few months I practice this new ability. I tried manipulating other liquid like water, just like how that wierd lady in my dream said, but have succeeded only once. I still can't figure who that lady was but I guess it doesn't matter that much.
"Today my new ability will finally get the 'permission to use' ! I'm so excited, I can't wait to use it in battle !" I exclaim.
Yes, you're right. We require permission to use an ability in a match and obviously it makes sense as a new unpracticed ability could be dangerous to the opponent. And today I'm going to give a final test in which they'll see the control I have on my ability and accordingly they'll give me the permission.
"Woah calm down a little-" Crystal says.
"I too am excited ! I can't wait to fight against you with your newly found power!" Leon says, interrupting Crystal, which got him a smack on head.
"So when exactly is your test ?" Colt asks.
"Hm.... in about..1hr."
"Oh you've got a lot of time....so...how about we have a little hand-to-hand combat..a friendly one, no injuries, no nothing, just like a warm-up?" Leon say which got him another smack but this time from his brother Ray.
"Ouch that hurts...Hey! Stop wait for me! Don't ignore me here"
"Tch so annoying." Ray mumbles.
"Hey that was a rude...only a little though.." I say, which got me a Leon running towards me for a hug, and I ofcourse move aside.
Aww he looks like a sad puppy.
"Ouch! God this collar hurts! Huh ?....Yes.....No problem....Yes...."
"Umm...for some reason I'm being called earlier than expected. So I've to go. Bye wish me luck !" I say and walk out of the room.
A chorus of 'good luck' and 'all the best' could be heard.
I reach the room I've been called in and change into something suitable for the test. Two guys with white coats walks in. They seem to be in their mid-thirties. Both look at me, the one with blonde hair actions me to follow them. I follow them without any questions. This is my first time being in this part of our building.
After a long walk, we reach the others who were just standing there, waiting for me I guess ? Maybe ? Anyways, continuing on, they open the door, the same blonde haired from before gives me a pill of sort and tells me to swallow it.
"But what will this pill do? Just wanting to let you know that I'm completely fine and I don't need any pill of sort.." I ask.
What? Can't I be atleast a little suspicious. It's not everyday that you get asked to swallow a random pill, that does 'god knows what' to you.
No reply.
"Can you please tell me what is this pill for?"
Again. No reply.....
"Excu-"
"Swallow. The. Pill"
That's scary. I immediately swallow the pill not wanting to anger that guy any further. Within a few minutes my vision becomes blurry and I feel a bit dizzy. Maybe these are the effects of the pill? Taking a few steps further, I feel my legs give in, stumbling a little I try to regain my balance but it was of no use. The last thing I see is both of them stopping, one showing my slight but if pity while the other with a blank stare.
Ray P.O.V.:
*Right after Eos left*
I watch as the hurriedly walks away. Not going to lie, I don't show it but I'm really worried about her. After all this is the first time that something like this has happened. Though a story of a similar case was there, about how there was a bit who suddenly lost his powers and was taken away a converse of it goes as his powers kept changing and hence he was killed for everyone's safety.
NO!! Calm down!!! Nothing is going to happen to Dawn. Those are all rumours. Right ?
"Down on Earth Ray!" A snapping noice pulls me out of my thoughts.
"Huh?"
"What is going on in that mind of yours? Come on let's go, everyone is leaving. Don't just stand here starting at nothing." My brother says. His face showing tad bit of concern despite his words.
Maybe I'm just overthinking it all. Yeah that's it.....
