Chapter 8 The Promotion Begins
"Charles, Gray, what business do you two have with me?"
When Joss arrived, Charles and Gray were together, seemingly discussing about something.
"Sir, have you finished your training?"
Hearing Joss' voice, the two immediately raised their heads.
'Are they dumb?
'If I didn't finish my training, how could I have come out of here to look for you two?'
Joss rolled his eyes and asked, "Could it be that there's something wrong with the phone again?"
"No... No.
"The production this time is very smooth. It's expected to be completed in ten days, but it has already completed the production of 10,000 mobile phones on the eighth day," Charles said proudly.
Of course, most of the credit came from the standardization that Joss proposed.
The two of them went to find Joss to get his approval to start the second batch of phone production.
Joss agreed as well.
After getting the approval, Charles and Gray had no choice but to go back to their workshop and continue their work.
Therefore, the two of them also invited Joss. "Sir, do you want to visit our workshop?"
Previously, in order to facilitate the teaching of manufacturing techniques and the management of apprentices, Marn specifically went to Charles and set up a huge workshop in a relatively remote corner of the Twin Mage Towers.
The original place of the workshop was an abandoned residential building.
"Let's take a look, shall we?" Joss did not have any objections.
He also wanted to know how the standardized production that he proposed was carried out by Marn and the others. If it was good, they could use it as a blueprint to set up more alchemy workshops.
After all, there would be more products and missions in the future.
The layout of the Twin Mage Towers was not much different from the other mage towers.
There were churches, unions, exchanges, and the like. At the same time, there were all kinds of buildings. They were usually private residences. The closer they were to the Twin Towers, the more such buildings there were.
The workshop was set up outside this luxurious area.
As Charles opened a portal, Joss and the others went through the portal and entered the Alchemy Workshop.
In the Alchemy Workshop, there was a bustling scene.
The mages in the workshop were all busy. Their robes were messy, but they were all full of smiles. Obviously, they were enjoying their work.
Reality proved that when the standards were established, the mages were better than ordinary people.
Moreover, there was a good reward.
"Sir!"
Marn, who was inspecting, saw Joss and the others and walked over.
"Marn, you did well!"
Joss praised Marn generously.
The follow-up inspection went smoothly. After knowing that Joss was at the workshop, all the apprentices were a little too enthusiastic.
"Sir, now that the supply is sufficient, can we start the next step of the plan?"
The supply was sufficient, so it meant that they had to start selling their products.
Before selling their products, the most important thing was to spread the news regarding thier amazing magic phone.
Gray had already made preparations for this.
"Show me your plan," Joss said.
It was not that he did not trust Gray, but compared to the various propaganda methods in his previous life, Gray, as a native of Hopeland, obviously did not have that many strange thoughts.
Gray nodded and quickly took it out.
After a glance, joss frowned slightly, he then proceed to raise his own opinion. "Here, in addition to informing the major chambers of commerce, we also need to set up our own shop. Even if we don't sell them, we can let them experience our magic for free."
"Yes, I understand!"
Gray quickly noted it down. This was another wonderful idea.
"To publish news in the magic newspaper..."
Joss muttered softly. Gray could not help but feel a little nervous. He was very much like the apprentices who were being examined by their teacher.
He then asked in puzzlement, "Sir, is there a problem?"
"Well, it's not a big problem, but..."
Joss shook his head as he asked in return, "But, Gray, why do you only publish it in the magic newspaper? You have to know that the magic newspaper is like an antique. Nowadays, mages might not read the newspaper."
Gray was deep in thought.
Joss continued to remind him, "Do you know the Hope Chamber of Commerce?"
"Are you talking about the Hope Chamber of Commerce, which has recently become very famous?" Gray asked in surprise.
"What else?" Joss spread his hands.
The Hope Chamber of Commerce was a powerful association that belonged to the Hope family.
The person in charge was a young girl who had just become a high-level mage. Hope Dillis, especially her perfect appearance, attracted a lot of attention.
Only Joss' reputation as the youngest archmage was better than hers.
"But there's nothing special about the Hope Chamber of Commerce, right?" Gray was still puzzled.
Suddenly, he seemed to have opened up his mind and asked in surprise, "Sir, are you thinking of getting a beautiful girl to promote our magic phones?"
Joss' face darkened.
He really hoped that Gray would be a little smarter than this.
Joss had already reminded him so clearly, but he still could not get it.
Joss said helplessly, "If you don't mind becoming a beautiful girl, I completely agree with your idea."
After saying this, Gray's face instantly darkened.
"What I want to say is that the Hope Chamber of Commerce recently launched the Midnight Echo Service."
Joss could only explain everything clearly.
The Midnight Echo Service was Dillis' idea. Using the voice recording stone, one could record their voice in it.
This voice could be someone's whisper, or it could be a girl's whisper, but most of it was the snoring of an unknown creature.
It was because of its uncertain voice that many mages fell in love with this kind of recording stone.
Gray understood and nodded frantically.
"Apart from that, we still need to find someone to bring the sample to the prosperous areas to publicize it. In short, no matter how much manpower is spent, we must thoroughly spread the news of our magic phone."
"Yes, I promise to complete the mission!" Gray stood straight and guaranteed.
"There's one more thing!
"While you're on your way to the Hope Chamber of Commerce, ask Beck to come back and take care of the transportation of the magic phones. Some apprentices sent the magic phones to the nearby areas by flying brooms. In the distant areas, open a portal and go there. Make sure that the transportation of the magic phones goes well," Joss repeatedly reminded him.
Beck was in charge of managing the transportation of all kinds of resources in the Twin Towers.
During this period of time, Beck had been dealing with the Hope Chamber of Commerce. He could not find time to attend the top-level meeting.
Just as Joss was about to leave, Gray suddenly said, "Sir, do you think we should hold a press conference so that other people can better understand our magic phones?"
Joss was stunned!
Was this still the Gray he knew?
Did he just become smart in an instant?
Joss had no objections to his suggestion.
Unfortunately, under Gray's repeated requests, he became the keynote speaker of the press conference. The time was set at 10 a.m. two days later, in the Twin Chamber of Commerce's building.
There, it would also be transformed into a magic phone experience store.
After confirming everything, Joss left the meeting hall.
He did not return to his residence. Instead, he used magic to conceal his aura. Even his appearance changed slightly.
Then, he went to the Twin Chamber of Commerce.
