Impenetrable, the scales of the vortex beast were stronger than metal and Knight Bolev's sword failed to penetrate.
The vortex beast roared furiously as it's tail swung at Knight Bolev, the speed of it's tail was so great, Knight Bolev could not move aside in time and so he lifted his sword to block the beast's attack
Weylyn winced, the Beast's tail was lined with spikes all along the length of it, especially at the end that formed a ball.
With such force, if the beast's tail was to hit Knight Bolev, he would be torn apart immediately.
"Kester! Shield!" Weylyn reminded the mage to protect his Knight.
There was nothing else to be done as the tail was already in motion and Kester summoned a shield from where he stood beside Weylyn, the shield shot up to block the beast's tail.
The powerful tail shattered Kester's shield on impact, but the force of it's attack was reduced and so Knight Bolev could block the rest of it.
