"Wait!" A voice called out from the other side of the portal before it could close up completely.
A disorderly young lad rode through in a panicked rush and all eyes which had been fixed on Weylyn now turned to settle on him.
Weylyn herself also glanced over the new presence, from his roughly tousled hair that was clearly still damp from a bath and his unbuttoned tunic and armor slung over the back of his horse,
It was obvious this lad had only just woken up not too long ago and had washed and dressed in a hurry.
The lad breathed a sigh of relief to have made it through the portal before it could fully close and it was only then he noticed that all eyes were fixed on him.
"I...uhmm... the furrow bird was meant to rouse me from my nap, I could not have expected it flew off to it's own devices and only returned at exactly sunset." The lad explained in a sheepish tone as he lifted a hand to scratch the back of his neck awkwardly.
