A large crowd had gathered on either sides of the cobbled streets of the Thurian citadel, buzzing with excitement as the thudding of horse hooves sounded from beyond the gates of the citadel, kicking up a cloud of dust that rose beyond the wall.
Those were the gates Elyora and the party from the light keep had just come through and even if they had arrived first, all carriages and horse driven carts that blocked the cobbled pathway stopped and cleared the path.
"I still do not understand why we have to stop for them, some of us here are of a much higher rank than knights." Elyora grumbled in annoyance as she alighted the carriage and came to stand beside Magnolia.
"What do you mean why? They are knights returning victorious from.a quest! Everyone revers them His Majesty cherished the Knightdom the most!" Magnolia exclaimed in disbelief as she passed a glare to Elyora
