"I need to go see my mother today," Mira said to Arijit, hugging him as tight as she could as though she'd never see him.
"Makes me want to be selfish and take you to the alter today," he said and Mira chuckled.
"I'll be back, I promise." She said, before pulling away and Arijit only hummed.
"Brown would be taking you home tonight, and I have employed two guards to go everywhere with you," he said and Mira widened her eyes.
"Bodyguards?? You didn't have to do that, I'll be safe," she said and Arijit shook his head.
"We can never be too sure, it's why I love to take precautive measures," he said with a straight face and Mira sighed.
"Fine then, I'll see you soon," she said, giving him a light kiss on the lip.
He watched her go into the car, until it drove off. He had asked Brown to drive her home as he was the only one he trusted with his fiancee.
