A knock was heard in Arijit's room, and he stood up to go get the door. It was his father.
"Come in father," Arijit said and his father stepped in the room.
"I'd like to keep it short as I am tired, if you want Mira as your wife, you might as well introduce her to the family before your mother does something," Rajput said and Arijit smiled.
"You do not object to our relationship?" Arijit said, and Rajput smiled.
"I made a background check, she's a Mehra. Not so middle-class afterall," he said with a chuckle at the end.
"I'm glad you support me father," he said.
"I support anything that would bring me an heir," Rajput said and a smile appeared on Arijit's lips.
"Get ready to hear the news soon," he murmured.
"Goodnight son," he said before turning to leave and return to his wife.
