Darren stood up and walked to the window and his eyes fell on the silhouette of a woman by the woods. He drew closer with his brows drew together.
He squirted his eyes, trying to figure out who was standing outside, whether a witch or a vampire? He couldn't tell. She wasn't moving.
"I think she is a vampire," he muttered and leaned forward.
Ambrosia flashed run to the window and looked out. She stared at the woman for a while before her lips curled up. "It's about time."
Darren took his gaze to her and pointed outside, "You know her?"
"Apparently, she is the one I have being waiting for. She is the one who will help us out. Although she is late," she answered and walked to the door.
If Ambrosia says she was trust worthy, then he was ready to believe her. She wouldn't just invite anyone into the house without thinking about their safety.
She opened the door wide but didn't step out. "It's about time, isn't it Alicia."
