Nick was stuck in a dilemma, he could of course confess but that would mean he would have to suffer if he did not confess then Marcus would have to suffer and in terms of suffering, he could see that Marcus's suffering was a lot worse than his. He swallowed hard and then placed the burger that was in his hands back on the plate and looked at Vanessa with a hesitating expression as he tried to come up with a decent way to break this news to her.
