Vanessa stared at him with a look that said that he was thinking a bit too much and that she had no idea what he was talking about in fact Nick himself had no idea what was going on with him. He should not be this bothered by the fact that Vanessa had hidden her identity from him, that she has hidden something like that when she most probably hid it from him because she didn't want to scare him off but it bothered him nonetheless and what bothered him, even more, was that she was taking care of that Derek instead of telling him what she liked.
Maybe the two of them were not thinking in the same line as they should have but they have kissed and he too has sort of given her, his permission to be with him so did it even make sense that he had no idea about what kind of person Vanessa was?
