The Clark industries wasn't a small company like the one that Marlo had opened, it was an amalgamation of many industries with various contacts attached to it.
Asking her to go against the Clark industries was similar to him asking her to fight with a bull. She could deal with it but at the same time she has to apply a lot of effort to the process and Vanessa hated anything that wasn't hassle-free.
