" Oh you are right," taking a glance at her wristwatch, Vanessa nodded as she turned to look at the man in front of her and hurriedly pushed the man away from her. " I need to take care of something Derek, I will get back to you pretty soon, till then you can stay at the bar and do what you usually do."
" Miss you?" said Derek with a pout, reaching to hold her wrist causing Vanessa to roll her eyes.
" No, go and get drunk," she snorted before snatching her wrist away from Derek. " But make sure that you do not take out your gun like last time and scare my customers away or else, I will break all the bones in your body, you hear me?"
Derek didn't look like he was at all bothered by the threat, instead, he looked at Vanessa dreamily and winked, " I did that only because you refused to see me at all, I had no choice but to resort to severe measures." A pause. " I will do that again if you do not come back by five."
