She made a humming sound as she tilted her head sympathetically. " You can tell me what's going on and I will see if I can help you with that." Gently, she pulled Nick back to the seat where he was sitting and smiled. "I might not be able to make it all better but I think we will be able to manage it somehow."
Nick was stunned not because he was surprised how hospitable Vanessa was acting towards him, he should have been high on alert upon seeing her attitude towards him but it was faintly hard for him to do it when she was dressed in that flaming red suit.
