Black widow was a loud place and that was exactly how Nick was going to describe it.
Nick stood in the very centre of the bar trembling with anxiety, if not for Marcus standing beside him, he would have already turned around and left the bar with quick steps. He huddled closer to Marcus worried that he might touch someone that would cause him to say goodbye to his pristine clean image. Until this moment the word 'shame' was a word that he only had a very vague idea about, he heard the description of the said word but he never understood what it actually meant but as he tried to look anywhere other than the women who were so scantly clad dancing and dry humping on the dance floor, he realised the true sense of what shame meant. The despair and struggle that he felt when he was running around calling his friends, and colleagues and even going as far as opening a donation centre held nothing …not even a candle to this humiliating situation that he was in currently.
