" This should be my line," said Nick with a chuckle that was enough to make Vanessa chuckle. She threw the bloody knives at Charity who caught them with ease and then walked away to clean them up, once she got rid of the last evidence, Vanessa walked up the stairs and headed straight to her bedroom, "It's a surprise that you called me this late in the night, that's why I asked that question but what about you? What do you mean by that it was supposed to be your line?"
"It's not that big of a surprise" answered Nick with a small smile as he stared at the dimly lit buildings and the night sky. " At least not as big of a surprise as you leaving the office without telling anyone, I heard that you were in a hurry to leave, that the reason I said that I should be the one asking —- is everything all right? Did something happen?"
