The torrential downpour came bucketing down, heavily drumming an unending pitter-patter rhythm as each droplet touched the ground.
Drowning the cries of a deplorable plump short haired woman. It was a gloomy day for Mrs Queen. One she could never forget. The day her husband threw her and her children out of his house.
The rain came down heavily as if its intention was to sympathise with her."I knew… a day like… this would come," Mrs Queen snivelled with a heavy heart. Her tears washed away with the rain drops.Mia wound her arms around Mrs Queen trying hard to calm her crying mom down.
She was still in shock by what had just happened herself.Just an hour ago, she, her mom, and her siblings had returned from a wedding one of her aunts was throwing.
They came home bearing happy faces, only to receive an expected shock.Seeing her brother and sister shivering from the harsh coldness, she took her family to her old apartment to stay for the night.
Her brother was suffering from heart disease, her sister was still going to school, and her mother had high blood pressure. She loved her family and could not bear to see them suffer.
After sending her family to her apartment, Mia took a short walk to clear her head. The bulk of what happened was still a mess in her head.
Walking along the sideway, Mia was deep in her thoughts that she didn't notice when a black van pulled up just behind her.
She felt someone from behind, but before she could move an inch, the person had successfully covered her nose with a small piece of cloth. Inhaling the substance sprayed on it, her body dropped to the ground before being carried and placed in the van.

Meanwhile,
At the Viria villa, a black car parked at the front of a massive mansion and a tall man stepped out of the car.
He was handsome and exuded a kind of aura that made people think twice before coming near him.
On entering the mansion, Eden was greeted by Aunt Mary, "Welcome back Eden, how was work today?"
Eden smiled, "Everything was good today Aunt Mary. So how is my sunshine?"
Aunt Mary, "Well… your sunshine is a little upset today!"
Frowning, Eden asked, "Upset? Why…. Did something happen to her today at school?"
Aunt Mary replied with a worried sigh, "She refused to say anything even when I asked. All she said was she only wanted to talk to her daddy when he gets home."
Eden chuckled, "Well then in that case, I should make my little sunshine's wish come true. I'll be back."
Saying that, Eden handed his bag to Aunt Mary and went upstairs to see his daughter.
Entering Isabella's room, Eden walked slowly toward the girl playing with her tab and pulled her into a bear hug from her back.
"Array the big bear has come to take the sun from the sky," Eden said playfully.
"Well, I don't care if the bear takes the sun down from the sky. I don't think the sun even wants to keep shining," Isabella mutters with a sulking face.
"Why is my little sunshine so unhappy today? Tell me, did anyone make you unhappy? Tell daddy and I will teach that person a lesson!"
"It's something that even daddy can't help me with," Isabella said, still looking downcast.
"Is it to do your hair? I will have to take some lessons later, and I'm perfect....."
"Daddy, where is my mommy?" Isabella asked suddenly, blinking her blue eyes at her father.
Hearing what his daughter said, Eden paused for a brief while. Now he knew what it was all about, "Well, mommy is in a good place, and wishing that her little Isabella is always happy."
"Daddy you always say that! Daddy, did you know that today at school our teacher said that we should all make a card for our moms for Mother's Day a few days from now, but I don't have a mom and all my friends teased me because of it." Isabella pursed her lips, on the verge of tears.
Seeing the sadness written all over her face broke Eden's heart, "It's okay dear, everything will be alright."
"Daddy, please get me a mommy, I want someone who is my best friend. Someone who cooks for me. Someone who talks and chats with me. Someone who protects me from daddy's scolding." Isabella pleaded. Listing all her conditions of the mother she wanted.
"Hey, when have I ever scolded you?" Eden teased to lighten up the mood a bit.
"You will surely scold me when I become older," Isabella stated.
Looking at his daughter's little eyes, all Eden could feel was pity for the little girl.
Growing up without a mother's love was the worst thing that can ever happen to a child, sighing, he said, "Do you want a mommy?"
Isabella nodded her head, "Yes, daddy. Your little sunshine wants a mommy."
Eden, "Ok then, I promise to get my little sunshine a mommy before Mother's Day, ok."
Hearing that, Isabella's face brightened up, "Really daddy, thank you very much." Jumping into his arms for a hug.
Smiling in response, Eden caressed his daughter's back as he stared in deep thoughts. Now his daughter was happy again but he had a bigger mission and that is to get his daughter the perfect mommy.

Opening her eyes, Mia scanned around to see that she was in a little storage room. Her hands were tied, and her mouth was gagged by a small cloth.
The room was dusty and she felt a little dizzy.
She blinked, trying to regain her senses. She heard footsteps coming towards her direction.
She flinched in fear when she saw who entered. It was a burly man, his face sloppily lined with scary scars.
He looked at her and a smirk appeared on his lips, then he said, "Under the rain, the beauty was found!"
