Scarlet's Point of View:
It was finally here. Our big day. I thought I was ready for it, but now that it was here—my heart was beating out of my body. I couldn't wait to be his, but I was scared of all this new happiness. What if it didn't last?
"Hey woman," I heard Xavier say as he walked in my room and I flashed a nervous smile to him. He looked so handsome, his eyes captured mine perfectly.
"It's gonna be fine," He assured me without asking. "Just one more day and we'll be together forever."
I smiled and hugged him. "I just can't believe it's finally happening."
"I know," He kissed the top of my head as he pulled back. "No one's gonna ruin anything anymore, Scarlet."
