Xavier's Point of View:
"Daddy..." Andrew's whispered voice reached my ears as he tightly hugged me. Scarlet rushed over as soon as she spotted Drew, but she couldn't hug him first. I understood her worry, so I ended the hug quickly, allowing Drew to continue hugging Scarlet. As they pulled back, I glanced around and noticed that Max was gone. It was just the three of us in the room.
"Drew, they didn't hurt you, right?" I couldn't help but ask, even though he seemed fine.
