Andrew's Point of View:
I found myself trapped in a pitch-black basement, surrounded by unfamiliar faces that sent shivers down my spine. The absence of any familiar face only heightened my anxiety.
"Where is mommy?" I couldn't contain my worry and blurted out the question to the men standing around me.
A man with a terrifying visage sneered at me and replied, "You won't be seeing mommy for a long, long time. Or anyone else, for that matter."
"What?" I stammered, feeling a knot tighten in my stomach.
"Shut up, you little brat!" another man snapped at me, causing me to shrink back and sit down in silence.
Surveying the room, I felt a profound lack of security. I missed my mommy dearly, but I knew I had to find a way out on my own.
"Excuse me, sir," I summoned the courage to address one of the men. Reluctantly, he acknowledged me and I seized the opportunity, asking, "Could I please have some water?"
