I groaned as I opened my eyes slowly. I saw Martin and gasped, but then calmed down as I realised he was now… not trying to hurt me.
Hurt. I remembered Max talking—Xavier.
Xavier. Yes. He showed me the recording—He was with me, I was with—I loved him?
Memories flashed in front of my eyes as time frames but they were continuously moving, cutting each other—overlapping again and again, making my brain go crazy. So many overlapping sounds, videos and conversations… they were all coming back to me at once. So many fights, screams—but then calm moments, sweet ones—again changed back to violent memories.
I grabbed my head as it started hurting real bad.
"Hey hey!" I heard him say as he handed me a glass of water. "Take it easy. It seems like your head's physically hurting."
