Xavier's Point of View:
"Marry me," I said with a smirk on my face.
Her eyes widened as she took a step back. "What the fuck are you even saying?"
I chuckled. "Quite a reaction!"
"I don't know anything about marriage. I'm sure as hell not marrying you!"
"Well, let me rephrase it then…" I exhaled and said, "Live with me for as long as you desire. My body will be yours, of course, but in return… I need you to fake-marry me."
"Fake-marry you?" She laughed. "I still don't understand it. How does that help you?"
I knew that if I hid the truth or lied, she would get suspicious and probably run away. I wasn't going to find someone else so hungry from me, so I had to be upfront. Telling the truth would have been stupid, so I came up with something else.
"It is for my business," I replied. "Being a family man helps in gaining trust."
"But you said I could leave anytime I want," She took a step toward me, "What after that?"
