Xavier's Point of View:
"I'm afraid that's not the case," I heard a familiar voice and I tried my best to open my eyes. "I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're stupid enough to think about bringing your company back in business. Now that wouldn't be the truth, would it?"
I groaned. "What are you, uh, doing, Max?"
"I don't think…" His blabber faded as I felt myself passing out and soon I drifted to black.
…
I woke up after what could be two minutes to hours, and looked at Max sitting in front of me, sipping coffee.
I groaned and looked around—I was still at my place. "I hope you don't mind me making myself a cup of coffee. Would have made you one too if you weren't, you know, passed out."
I scoffed and sat up upright. "What do you want now?"
"My associates inform me that you're working on bringing up your company again," He said as he kept the cup down on the table, "Don't you think that's stupid?"
