"Why did you have to help him?" Matthew asked as they walked by the gardens at the back of the palace.
"Why not? The ancient potion formulas are pretty good," After Kieran woke up, he gave Ava the rest of the potion formulas while Ava gave him a way to leave this place by contacting one of Matthew's people and using teleportation to leave without being detected.
The two continued walking while holding each other's hands.
"Do you want to— "
"I am tired," Ava uttered. "What about you?" The sun is almost up and to be honest, Ava wanted to get some sleep. After all that happened earlier, all she wanted was a cozy snuggle. She smiled.
