On the outside, this place was an island hundreds of miles away from New Zealand. The Island is considered one of the more remote places in the world with less than a hundred residents and can only be accessed by riding a boat for more than thirty hours.
But only a few knew that this place was a secret place where Solitary Witches frequent. A Solitary Witch is just like Ava and Shaman Gaas who didn't belong to any coven. They prefer to practice the craft and travel alone.
This place was akin to a school for solitary witches, except they don't sit down and learn how to use a spell. They experience it in the Pits.
