Ava thought about the things that had happened since she met Matthew. She shook her head. "No."

"What? But I am going to become the Deputy and I was planning to— "
"No need." Ava faked a smile. "I want to go somewhere…"
"What about the rest of the Deputies group? I mean, his accomplices? This is just the start of our plans."
"You have to do that on your own."
"Tsk. That's too bad. You would have been a great addition to the team."
"What happened to the elders?" Ava changed the topic.
"Well, they are going to be evaluated. Once the Deputy confesses, we are going to detain them as well. For now, the elders temporarily lost their influence inside the court of Trillium."
