"Who are you?" It was Broody. He faced Matthew, his face contorted into an ugly scowl.
"Not a married man." Matthew's answer was like a wake-up call to Ava. She immediately walked towards Matthew. He must have heard what they said earlier which made him so agitated.
"Alright. Let's leave," Ava said.
"Are you going to leave without introducing that man, V?"
"Yes Broody and this is none of your business," she snapped.
"V… who is this?"
"Phil… I'm sorry, not now. I will call you later. For now, I am leaving." Ava said. She held Matthew's arms and tried to pull him away.
But the man didn't plan on moving.
"Matthew…" she hissed and tugged his arms again. "Let's go?" A fake smile appeared on her face.
"Of course," Matthew responded. However, his gaze was still focused on Broody. "I suggest that you take care of your missing wife rather than concern yourself with driving my woman to our home."
