When Theo exited the door he found an old man meditating infront of three altars.On the first altar was a purple fruit,the middle altar had a light orb floating on it and the last altar had a paper slip floating on it.
He looked at the three items on the altars and his eyes locked on to the fruit.The old man who was meditating opened his eyes and looked at Theo standing at the door.He brows furrowed and he looked at Theo in confusion.
"Why...no,how are you here?It should not be possible for you to be able to enter this realm without me even being able to sense you.No,you are just an incarnation made from a Heaven rank technique.That's why I couldn't sense you on the beginning.How did you get a Heaven rank technique?An inheritance?"
Theo just stood there with an indifferent look and didn't answer.He measured the old man and found he was only releasing the waves of a peak Refinement stage awakened just like him at the moment.It seemed the level of cultivation really can't surpass Refinement stage.
"Old man give me that fruit and I will leave."
Theo said cooly and ignored the questions of the old man.
"Now youngster,I can't do that this is only for the one who is fated to receive the inheritance."
"Come now old man we both know neither of the five back there would be able to get their hands on the inheritance set by the master of this realm,it will land in your hands at the end anyway."
The old man started to laugh when he heard Theo's words as it seemed Theo already knew what would happen after the final trial.He stood up and looked menacingly at Theo.
"How did you know I am not the master of this secret realm?Did I do something to give it away in such a short time?The other five didn't seem to notice and thought I was a remnant left behind by the master of this realm."
"It was the moment I sensed your cultivation level.Usually a remnant doesn't need a cultivation level because they can control the realm since it was left by them.So,are you going to give it or not?"
They turned silent for a while and knew they wouldn't be able to reason with the other party And gathered there energy.A blue hue gathered around Theo while a red hue gathered around the old man.
"Raging waves!"
"Fire fish!"
Water gathered infront of Theo and formed a chaotic wave ten meters high splashing in all directions bearing immense pressure.It roll toward the old man while fire whirled infront of the old man and turned into a five meters tall and seven meter long fish with sharp teeth and swam through the air towards Theo.
The two abilities collided and the shockwaves from the collision sent both of them back,Theo was sent back five meters while the old man was sent back ten meters.
"It seems I'm stronger than you in raw power old man even if you use arts you would still lose.It's better to just give the fruit to me and we can avoid a fight."Theo said as he stretched out his hand forward.
The old man laughed and set both his hands on the ground and sent a heat wave towards the ground as a brown hue surrounded him along with the red hue.
"Fire fish!" "Rock armor!"
"Combat art - Magma creation - Magma sharks!"
Fire flowed across the ground and the earth melted forming a lava pool.The lava pool transformed into six sharks releasing incredible heat and shot out like bullets.
"You leave me no choice."
Theo stomped his foot and the gravity in the room increased five fold as water drops gathered around the room.Even with the astonishing heat they did not evaporate.The sharks slowed down a little for a moment because of the increase in gravity.
"Raging waves!" "Gravity increase!"
"Combat art - Pressure formation - Sea dragons imprisonment!"
The gravity pushed the water toward the old man and the radius of the gravity increase became smaller.The sharks were also pushed back as water gathered and formed a sphere around the old man and the pressure inside increased dramatically.The water started to rage and transformed into water dragons,it cut and crushed everything inside of the sphere.The lava sharks were doused and destroyed while the old man's bones were crushed and his body was cut.
"Wait!Stop,we can do as you say just let me go.You can have everything,just please let me live I beg of you!"
Theo stretched out his hand and showed his palm to the old man...
"You should have listened when I gave you a chance earlier."
...and he clenched his hand closed.
"Sea dragons slaughter!"
The water sphere imploded and the dragons inside coiled mincing the old man making him die with regret.The water fell into the hole the old man created when he made the lava pool,the only thing left of him where blood stains on the ground and in the water.
Theo suddenly swayed and his body became more illusory.
"I guess I used to much energy.If those five don't bring my fruit back I will kill all of them!"
When he finished speaking he dissapeared and the medallion fell on the floor,it had lost all its energy.
The moment the old man died Richard and the others woke up and looked around in confusion.
"Where did my strength go?"
Richard looked at his hands and felt so weak.It was only then he realized everything he experienced was all a dream and all the power and authority he had were fake.The other also realized everything was fake and were embarrassed and angry at the fact they couldn't even tell they were played with.
'Dammit!Let me go back!'
