When Jake opened his eyes, he saw Lana and Louise watching him up close. It seemed that they looked worried about something, and then he noticed that he was the cause of their worry. Jake was covered in sweat, and his heart was beating like crazy… that dream had been pretty vivid like the other one that repeated itself several times, but that one was completely new.
"Were you having a nightmare? You were sweating bullets and showing a tense expression," Lana said. "Come to think of it, you said that you have a hard time falling asleep…"
"Nah, it was probably because I am not used to sleeping after sunrise. The heat got me," Jake said and then got up.
Although he said that, everyone knew that the weather in that region was pretty nice. Only two hours had passed since sunrise, so the temperature was far from being high.
"Well, whatever," Lana said. "I want to take a shower… I don't remember feeling so dirty while we played this game before."
