It seemed that someone finally approached to get rid of the barrier… but not many people there could think how many allies were still out there that decided not to participate in the battle.
"He is here, our main target," Hugo said and then jumped backward when Luke tried to split him in half. "As expected, that part of the system is fighting back…"
"What the hell are you talking about?" Luke asked.
"What are you hiding, Hugo?" Frederick stepped forward and asked. "You are also targeting Jake, and you are using this whole incident to lure him? Why? You aren't someone petty enough to hate someone that much… even considering those memories."
