Jake couldn't relax during the night. The best he could do was to take a few naps here and there. His shelter only had a single room, so it was clear that anyone could approach him. Knowing that he couldn't fall asleep peacefully. The idea of letting himself vulnerable while others nearby gave him goosebumps. So, he worked on making more potions to diminish that problem.
When morning came, he finished his preparations for the next mission, and the others woke up as well. They couldn't take all of their time to clear the dungeon. They will have to endure hell for a while yet, but now they know what they have to do.
"You saved us again, Jake," Louise said. "It reminded me of the old days."
"The old days of three weeks ago…" Jake replied. "You can repay me by not bothering me too often."
"So, you don't mind if we show up now and then?" Lana asked. "How weird of you."
