"Hey, Jake," Lana said. "You should get some sleep while you can. The sun will soon rise, you know."
As he had promised, Jake spent the night fighting while the girls took turns to rest and help him. At first, Karina stayed for quite a while, but she lacked and stamina for some reason, so she stopped around midnight and went to sleep.
"I am fine," Jake said.
Even by himself, Jake could take down ten salamanders at the same time. The only problem was the fact that he would have to rely on Flames of Wrath, and while that was useful, it wasn't that much fun. So, he only had to endure some pain to be able to do so, but even that wasn't a problem since his resistance against heat and fire was increasing at a fearsome speed.
