The girl flinched at his harsh tone before lowering her head and saying in an aggrieved tone, "I was sleeping. I woke up when Mom barged into my room. She then told me to come here and tell you that she is preparing dinner for our guests and you should let him wash up and change his clothes."
Paul raised his brows before nodding, "Alright. Go, take him to the guest room next to Frankie's room and show him how to warm the water in the bath. I'll bring him a set of my clothes to wear."
After instructing her, he glanced at Eric, "Go, boy. Wash up and return for the dinner."
Eric inwardly sighed in relief and nodded before sitting up and walking over to his daughter, who was clearly not happy with the task given to her but had no choice but to obey him.
As Paul watched Eric walk out of the living room, a trace of anger and disdain flashed in his eyes, 'Worms, indeed! Can't appreciate my good intentions.'
