Chapter 22 - You can't be king

Goffe only felt a trance in front of him; he was no longer there, but directly kneeling under the long ladder of the pyramid that seemed to lead to the cloud.

"Temple?"

Goffe turned over and sat on the ground with horror on his face.

"What's this?"

"Why am I here?"

"Why am I here?"

His head lowered quickly, his eyes afraid to look at the top of the stairs.

He was afraid that his gaze would startle some existence at the highest point.

Goffe is not only afraid of this sudden change but also afraid of the temple at the top of the pyramid, the mysterious and stalwart existence that dwells among the god.

"Go!"

"Hurry up!"

"You have to get out of here."

He trembled all over and wanted to crawl down.

At this time, the light shone on the stairs.

The light spreads from a high place little by little, like mercury leaking to the ground.

The color is blazing white.

That is not the light of the sun, but a pure and sacred light, as if it is the power that blooms from the bottom of my heart.

All the expressions on Goffe's face disappeared, and he turned his head.

The whites of the eyes and pupils were soaked with light, and they also turned pure white.

He raised his head. He saw a shadow in the light.

An existence that transcends time and space, and is free from all constraints and influences.

He knows what it is.

Goffe's shoulders collapsed, and his hands were like noodles, hanging on both sides weakly.

The whole person knelt on the ground as if losing all his strength; only his head was raised high and he looked at the star-like shadow on the ceiling.

"Ince God!"

That was the first and last time he saw God.

God is not an immovable stone, completely different from what he saw when his father took him into the temple when he was a boy.

He did not go out of the temple, not because the temple trapped him.

But the universe is repelling him, no matter where he is. It makes no difference.

"original!"

"God is like this."

Goffe raised his hand to God, as if embracing the light.

"God!"

"Are you going to punish me?"

The god lives high above the hall, and the voice seems to be streaming from the clouds.

"Son of Father Killing!"

"Your father chooses your life and death, and your sin is defined by him."

Insight just glanced at Goffe, then withdrew his gaze and returned to the temple.

As the light retracted from the highest point of the stairs, Goffe was completely limp on the ground.

--------------

Goffe just climbed down the steps of the pyramid like a ball of mud and was surrounded by a group of strong and tall three-leaf guards.

"Press here."

Several Triloman guards took Goffe down and dragged it onto the road.

Goffe did not make any resistance.

When being dragged away, he turned his head and glanced at the huge statue of the King of Wisdom erected under the pyramid, which was dedicated to his father, the King of Wisdom.

On both sides of the avenue of the God-given City stood the people of the Kingdom of Hailince.

They looked at the elder Prince Goffe, who was being escorted in disbelief.

"His Royal Highness Goffe?"

"How could it be His Royal Highness?"

"Impossible, he is the son of the King of Wisdom."

"What is this all about?"

In the eyes of everyone's incomprehension and shock, Goffe was dragged and brought to Redlichia, kneeling down on a piece of gravel.

The tall and glorious palace of the past has been turned into a pile of rubbish, and under the stone are the corpses of three leper men.

Above the ruins, Redlichia stared at Goffe steadily.

He looked at his son with incomprehension, anger, and sadness in his eyes.

"How dare you do such a thing?"

"Kill your father? Offended the god? "

"As a sacrifice to the god, you use the power that God has given you to kill your king."

Before Goffe could answer, Redlichia held up a stone-like worm egg and questioned him.

"You said."

"Why is your brother Boone's fusion monster in your hands? Where is Boone? "

Goffe didn't hide it; he couldn't see the slightest regret in his eyes, as if he had said nonchalantly.

"What did you say?"

"Great King of Wisdom?" It shouldn't be difficult to guess what I did with your wisdom.

Redlichia's anger was completely ignited by Goffe, and he yelled at Goffe angrily.

"But I want to hear from you."

Goffe tilted his head to one side. Although his mouth was tough, he still didn't dare look directly into his father's eyes.

"I killed Boone, and then dug out the bones of his brows."

"After I eat it, I can naturally control his fusion monster."

"As for his body, it's at sea."

Redlichia was shaking all over after listening.

"You bastard."

"You are looking for death."

The Queen rushed out from behind at this moment and grabbed her husband.

"Don't kill him!"

Redlichia looked at his queen, his eyes full of anger.

"He killed his brother, he killed Boone."

"He wants to kill me, kill his father."

"Boone is also your son."

"Why can't you kill him? Shouldn't he pay for what he did?"

The queen looked at Redlichia pleadingly: "Just because we have lost a son, doesn't mean we want to lose a second son."

The Queen lay on the ground, hugging Redlichia hard: "And!"

"I don't want you to kill your son with your own hands."

"That will be the most tragic thing in the world. Don't let this happen, OK?"

"Exile him to a far place, and let him never come back."

The queen looked at her eldest son and said, "Hurry up and beg your father for mercy!"

Goffe laughed loudly and said, with a dismissive expression on his knees.

"I am not wrong."

"I am your eldest son, and I am the king of wisdom for the next generation."

How can I accept that I am not the king? How can I bear that the person sitting on the throne is not me? "

"Even if you don't kill me today, I will kill Yasser in the future."

He looked at his father and said clearly.

"You cannot be the king."

"I would rather die."

It can be seen that Goffe is no longer ready to live anymore.

Redlichia finished listening. If he was still angry just now, now there was only coldness in his eyes.

He walked down the collapsed palace step by step, and said to Goffe while walking,

"Goffe."

"If you really want to kill someone, that person can only be me, your father."

"Not your brother."

The sharp lower end of the scepter pierced Goffe's chest, and blood continued to flow from the pattern of the scepter.

Redlichia killed Goffe with his own hands.

In the pool of blood, Goffe heard the hoarse cry of the queen, but his eyes were always on Redlichia.

I don't know if he is looking at his father or the crown on his head.

Until I completely lost all consciousness.
