Chapter 7 - Faith and Wisdom's King (R1)

Redlichia continued to kneel in front of the idol.

He was desperate, his face contorted as if the sky had fallen.

Insight thought it said it was amusing that he was distressed and asked him.

"Why do you care so much about them seeing me?"

Redlichia opened his arms and said piously to Insight on the god's stage.

"How can I believe in God if I cannot see him?"

"How do I listen to God's will?"

"Why should they believe in me?"

Insight inquired once more.

Redlichia became speechless; he thinks there is no reason to believe in God.

Insight inquired once more: "Still conversing."

"Do you thinks it is important that they have faith in me? Or that I would not exist if it were not for their belief?"

"I am always present, whether they can meet me or not."

"And I have no decree to issue to you, you just have to be able to prosper and create your own civilization."

Redlichia knelt down and approached Insight's feet: "We believe in you not because you require us, but because we require you."

"It is as if"

He pondered for a long time but could be coming up with any specific adjectives.

Until I saw the sea outside and the sun shining through the temple's pillars.

"Like..."

"...Water, like light, is critical to life."

As an atheist, Insight smiled.

Even if the God who created the universe is standing right in front of him, he simply regards him as a power higher being.

His concept of God is completely different from Redlichia's concept of God.

Even if he is referred to as a god, his expression is noncommittal, and he despises the word god.

Redlichia below, but tenacious.

Nevertheless, what Redlichia said next moved Insight.

With tears in his eyes, he lowered his head beneath the sacred platform and placed it on Insight's feet.

He became gentle and a little sad.

"Ince god."

"What I fear the most is that if I die, who will arrive at this temple to serve you, and who will guard this temple until the end of time?"

"How can this go on if even my children can not see you?"

"You are just so powerful that you can bestow wisdom and life on everything, that you can change this lonely and lifeless world, but you can not change your loneliness."

Insight gave him a look.

He meant to say that this is just your opinion.

I do not need anyone to guard this immense tomb, let alone stay in this temple for the rest of my life; I will leave one day, and you are just a stone guarding me.

However, I am not sure why my heart softened when I saw Redlichia's tears.

"Then tell me what you want!"

Redlichia wiped his tears away and turned to face Insight.

"I wish to build a great civilization, one that will last forever."

"I want them to forever enshrine you and surround this temple."

"I want to make an unbreakable pact with all Triloman, entrusting them with guarding this palace from generation to generation, and instilling my faith in you in my blood."

Insight shook his head at Redlichia, who was still unharmed.

"These things make sense only to you; they have no meaning for me."

"There does not have an eternal civilization; even the sun will eventually set, and the universe will perish."

"A civilization, no matter how enormous, cannot outlast the passage of time."

"No matter how pious the faith, it will be forgotten, and no matter how tall and had the temple and stone statues are, they will eventually crumble into ruins."

Redlichia had no idea what this meant, but he felt that these words ran through the years and eternity, and they were mysteries he could not penetrate.

Insight stroked the bone helmet on his head, his voice not as cold and hollow as usual.

"However, if you are willing to does it, does it!"

"If you believe that these are the meanings of life."

Finally, Redlichia stated: "If I die, please God, take one of my possessions and place it by your side."

"In this way...

...I will be able to stay with God forever."

Insight looked at the back of Redlichia as it left the temple, and he realized that Redlichia was no longer a bug, an object he casually made.

He is a living being, a person with emotions.

--------------

They encircle the high temple, constantly expanding their city and guarding the pyramid and temple in the center.

Triloman numbers have risen from hundreds to thousands.

This island has finally begun to show signs of civilization, with the appearance of a city-state.

The Triloman comprehend awe, and civilization has power distribution.

They knew reverence, civilization had the distribution of power, and they did not dare to call Redlichia by his name, calling him the King of Wisdom and calling the city the god-given city.

Means that everything is also a member from God.

Redlichia and his children lived in a palace built-in the valley behind the pyramids.

Redlichia employs his son in various positions throughout the god-given city.

Some are under the responsibility of construction, food, and warehouse security.

They wield power and bring together thousands of Triloman.

The Triloman, who were originally equal, have been divided into separate classes.

The three-leaf people're kingdom or city-state developed a simple power structure.

The king is Redlichia, and his sons are the first trilobite nobles.

On this day, Redlichia's second son ran in and knelt in front of him, his face flushed with fear.

"A number of people has been swallowed by the sea once more, the illustrious king of wisdom."

Redlichia sat on the cold stone seat, his gaze fixed on his second son.

"How many people?"

Responded: "The entire team has not returned."

The Redlichia base station stood up, concerned.

It is not simply that someone has died; it is also the underlying crisis.

The term "being swallowed by the sea"

refers to someone who entered the deep sea and did not return, and the majority of them will never come back.

This is not the right first time this has happened.

As the number of Triloman increased, the food they produced by catching bugs and soft tongue snails became insufficient.

Even if they began to dry the plants on the seafloor for food, it would have no effect.

They are like giants in comparison to this era.

Thousands of people gathered, enough to eat up the sea near the island, making food on the land impossible.

Their arrival is too abrupt for this world, which is not yet ready to welcome the Triloman civilization.

Someone in the god-given city began to starve to death, and they were forced to flee to the bottomless sea, which was not as peaceful as they had imagined.

The ocean has the capacity to both create and consume life.

Many Triloman perished in the abysmal sea, became trapped in a dangerous sea area, or were caught in an unexpected situation and never returned.

Redlichia was aware of the Trilobite civilization's major crisis.

If he can not even cross this threshold, let alone build a great civilization.

I fear he will have to stop here.
