Alexa was quick to move her head back to the bed when she felt Alita move. She had been looking confusedly between Kora and Asher, wondering what or who they were talking about. When she saw Asher teleport and stretch his hand toward the invincible being she couldn't see, she realized that this may not be a joke Afterall.
The question that had been ringing in her head disappeared when Kora's words reached her ears and realization dawned on her. If the intruder is a spirit, then it made sense why she and uncle Ben couldn't see her. But how can Asher see... Oh, right. He is part witch.
As soon as that was cleared in her head, another question arose in her head, causing the hairs on her skin to rise. What was a spirit doing here? Why was she here? All the alarms in her head went off and she instinctively tightened her grip on Alita's hand, while still keeping her gaze on Kora who had started muttering some words she couldn't make sense of.
