"Should I go after him?" Asher asked, seeing how Zica was still looking in the direction Shazar went.
Zica snapped her head in the direction where Asher was standing beside her, surprised by the sudden sound of his voice. She had forgotten he was standing beside her when the conversation with Shazar escalated.
"No need." She answered, and proceeded into the house.
"No need? He just threatened you, Nana. Moreover, he's also wanted for what happened to Alita." Asher pointed out, walking behind her as he also stepped into the house.
"You seem to be forgetting that this is Havana. Your powers won't work here. The only reason you are still invincible is because that ability is neither a witch's nor a vampire's ability. I don't know where you and your brother got it from."
"The perks of being a hybrid, perhaps." Asher shrugged.
