Dread filled him as he knew what would come next. All his pleas had been ignored by Axel. He didn't believe this was happening to him.
The stopping of the engine indicated that all the oil poured into it had already been discharged. But what followed was a spark of flame which dropped into the same hole the oil had dropped and traveled to the cell.
Gregory's screams filled the dungeon as the fire rose from the three circles, surrounding him. Now, the fire was not his problem as the flames did not touch him. Even though the heat was bad for him, that was also not his major concern.
