"Please, your highness, let my family go. They know absolutely nothing about this." Henry pleaded even before Axel could say a word to him. Seeing it was only his wife and daughter remaining, and the way Axel was staring at him, he knew the next question was coming to him.
"So you are saying their lives are better than that of millions of vampires out there?"
"I never said that, your highness," Henry answered, confused as to why Axel asked him that. What does the question have to do with his request?
"You never said that?" Axel cocked his head to the side, one of his brows raised elegantly. "You just asked that I let them go because they know nothing about this. How many million vampires know that you have unleashed a terror on them?" Axel queried and he saw Henry's frown deepen in confusion.
