"Where is Alita?" Alexa repeated the question. She was beginning to get suspicious as she noticed that he was answering all the other questions but seemed to be avoiding that one. If he said Alita was married to a vampire, then the only way to confirm it was to ask Alita herself.
"Alita transformed about ten minutes before you arrived, and disappeared from this place." Uncle Ben explained and saw confusion register on Alexa's face.
"What do you mean transformed? I thought she isn't supposed to transform again after being exposed to vampires." Alexa queried, finding it hard to believe what he was saying. Her father had said that once Alita becomes exposed to vampires and their cruelty before their sixteenth birthday, it would stop her from transforming, and that was exactly what had happened. So what was uncle Ben saying about transformation again?
"So I thought too until I heard from the original creators of the venom."
